Pasta & Puppetry

In a world filled with too many words, we come together to spit our narrative through games and puppetry. How can we create “masks” to re-relate with ourselves and situations around us?
Join us in a one session workshop initiated by Karagöza to experiment with different methods of puppet making including collage, paper cut, drawing and shadow play. We will spend the day creating and thinking beyond the binary, while allowing our hands to play, assemble and scrap in our effort to understand and satirize situations within and around us. The workshop is welcome to all, with no experience needed. At the end of the workshop we will all improvise a shadow puppet theater show for ourselves with the characters we created, while enjoying Roberto’s dangerously delicious and infamous pasta.
