Palestinian Film Festival Amsterdam (PFFA) benefit event
On Monday, 8 September, the annual Palestinian Film Festival Amsterdam (PFFA) benefit event will be held at Studio/K to raise funds for the 2025 edition, Virtual Remains. With one month left until the festival starts, donations are being collected to execute the most extensive PFFA edition to date, with newly released films, fascinating guests and distinctive parallel events.
Intifooda Kitchen will serve delicious plant-based Palestinian delights from 18:00-21:00, followed by the documentary Nūn Wa Zaytūn (2014, 50 min.) and a pre-recorded Q&A with director Emtiaz Diab. This film was screened during a sold-out Retro Palestine event last winter, and was an audience favourite. Studio/K will donate 50% of the proceeds to the PFFA.
