Every Tuesday evening – until the end of September – we show the most impressive, moving and controversial movies on our city beach on the NDSM Wharf. On a beach chair with a drink in your hand you’ll be sucked into the big screen.

As the years pass and she is shamelessly desired and adored, Parthenope wrestles with the burden of her own enchantment: her appearance opens every door, yet constantly threatens to overshadow her sharp mind and her longing for real freedom. Through a series of encounters, losses and temptations, she searches for who she truly is beyond the gaze of others. Director Paolo Sorrentino sculpts his lush, sensuous coming-of-age (an ode to his native city and to the transience of youth) into a dreamlike vision that competed for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
