Opening: SO'26 OF SELECTION OF DUTCH PHOTOGRAPHY

The Selection Of Dutch Photography (SO) is a photography competition that focuses on the creative identity of the professional photographer. DuPho, the professional association for photographers in the Netherlands, organises the SO and aims, through this competition, to highlight the diverse landscape of photography in the Netherlands.

Each year, a jury representing all areas of the profession selects portfolios from approximately fifteen photographers, including three students. Through series ranging from seven to a maximum of twelve images, these photographers present the breadth and depth of their signature style. With strong storytelling and boldness, they distinguish themselves through originality.

From Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June, Melkweg Expo presents the work of the fifteen selected photographers: Pie Aerts, Lotte Bruning, Michel Campfens, Jermain Cikic, Yasemin Demirözcan, Clara Franke, Nanda Hagenaars, Rob Hornstra, Nella Ngingo, Mark Rammers, Jaap Scheeren, Sas Schilten, Aisha Zeijpveld, Enzo Visser and Lieve van der Zijde. You are warmly invited to attend the festive opening from 17:30.
