Ontworteld: Joni Mitchell (feat. Laura Bohn)

Ontworteld/Uprooted is a new series by River Adomeit that reimagines roots and folk music. This edition focuses on an icon of the folk tradition: Joni Mitchell.

Joni Mitchell has inspired generations with her poetic lyrics and harmonically adventurous song writing, capturing in music the ethos of the free spirit of America in the late 60s and early 70s. In this intimate evening of musical storytelling, bassist River Adomeit and soprano Laura Bohn (both American born and Amsterdam based) crack open some of Joni’s beloved tunes to take listeners on a playful and soulful journey down the American folk icon’s sonic highway.
