One Straw Revolution brings indie rock with a vintage vibe. Polyphonic vocal harmonies inspired by The Beatles meet country-guitar parts and tight drum grooves. Their satirical lyrics speak of the bandmembers personal experiences. In May 2025, OSR turned their demos into a first album “Little Broom”, followed by the single “Mr. Candy” in July 2025.

The name One Straw Revolution is an homage to permaculture-guru Masanobu Fukuka, whose philosophy entailed decreasing human intervention in farming and handing over the reins to nature. ‘You can change the world with one straw’, a mindset OSR endorses. This philosophy is the common thread in their music, the songs are authentic stories grown organically and without force.

Lily Janae takes you by the hand and invites you into a vast and intimate sonic landscape. The Amsterdam based-Seattle born singer/songwriter combines elements of the North American indie-rock/folk scene with the psychedelic/experimental sounds of a wandering spirit. Her music feels nostalgic and familiar while gently pushing traditional boundaries. Lily Janae approaches songwriting with a distinct curiosity and the clear goal of making each track its own self-contained world, effortlessly blending satire and sincerity in her layered lyricism to provide listeners with songs they come to love and yet can rediscover over and over again.
