Ready for a break from your phone, socials and endless notifications? Do you feel like going completely offline for a while, doing your own thing in peace and meeting new people?

On Wednesday, December 2nd, The Offline Club and the municipality of Amsterdam are inviting all young people and young adults in Amsterdam to a special Gen Z edition of our Offline Hangout, in the cozy Tuinhuis at Tolhuistuin.
Go retro, take a break from socials, and escape to the analog world for an evening. All with live piano music by Cécile Schulte. 🎹
What can you expect?

During “Time for yourself,” everyone does their own thing undisturbed while Cécile Schulte plays live piano. Read a book, write, draw, work out ideas, crochet, or just do absolutely nothing for a bit. We provide creative materials, but feel free to bring your own book and hobbies.
👉🏼 Time for connection
During “Time for connection,” you get the chance to meet new people through group activities such as “Speedfriending.” You can also expect a space full of board games, puzzles, creative activities, prompts for deeper conversations, and fun. Not in the mood for a conversation right now? No problem, you can always chill in the me-time corner. Come solo, or bring friends.
📵 About your phone: Your phone stays at our phone hotel, and we’re its bodyguards. But good to know: if it gets lost or broken, The Offline Club cannot be held liable. Would you rather not hand in your phone? No worries, just switch it off and put it away, out of sight!
A small note: “Inloop” literally means a walk-in or open-entry period, so I rendered it as “Doors open,” which sounds more natural for an event schedule.
