New Wave cover band with a Brazilian pop twist

‘Nouvelle Vague’ means ‘new wave’ in English and ‘bossa nova’ in Portuguese, which neatly sums up the group’s concept: reworking classic new wave singles with a Brazilian pop twist. Nouvelle Vague is the brainchild of French producers Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux. 

A Date with Depeche Mode is Nouvelle Vague’s new album, recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Paris, bringing together eleven international singers around the catalogue of Depeche Mode. The first chapter of a new collection, the album will be released in October 2026.
