Met een voorliefde voor experiment en vernieuwing presenteert het Plein Theater Nieuwe Noten Amsterdam. Gloednieuwe composities van toonaangevende musici vormen de ingrediënten van deze concertserie voor hedendaagse muziek.
Een geest inademen, dat is wat inspiratie betekent. Door in te ademen komt er een aanwezigheid het lichaam binnen en dat onverwachte bezoek kan inderdaad buitenaards aanvoelen.
Met de stem als middelpunt reflecteert dit concert op waar inspiratie vandaan komt en wie deze bezoekende geesten zouden kunnen zijn. Zangeres en componiste Irene Sorozábal presenteert haar nieuwe voorstelling, Lend Your Body to the Muses, naast verschillende werken van componisten met wie ze nauw samenwerkt: Manuel Sánchez García, Cecilia Arditto en Georgi Sztojanov, onder anderen. Het programma omvat hedendaagse composities voor zang, basklarinet en elektronica.

With a love for experiment and innovation, Plein Theater presents Nieuwe Noten Amsterdam. Brand-new compositions by leading musicians form the core of this concert series dedicated to contemporary music
To inhale a spirit, that is what inspiration stands for. Through an inbreath, a presence enters the body and that unexpected visit can indeed feel otherworldly.
With the voice at its centre, this concert reflects on where inspiration comes from, and who these visiting spirits might be. Singer and composer Irene Sorozábal presents her new performance, Lend Your Body to the Muses, alongside several works by composers with whom she closely collaborates: Manuel Sánchez García, Cecilia Arditto, and Georgi Sztojanov, among others. The programme includes contemporary compositions for voice, bass clarinet, and electronics.
