Jazz / World music Bio Yoràn Vroom (Amsterdam 16-05-1991)
Begon op jonge leeftijd met muziek. Een belangrijk deel van zijn muzikale ontwikkeling schrijft hij toe aan het studeren van drums bij de Surinaams/Nederlandse drummeester Eddy Veldman en West-Afrikaanse percussie bij Master Ponda O' Bryan. Yoràn studeerde af aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam en is daar tegenwoordig actief als docent slagwerk op de jazz afdeling. Momenteel is hij actief als componist en leider van de band Group Of Friends en actief in de Nederlands/Europese (jazz)muziekscene Hij heeft gewerkt met en blijft werken met internationaal bekende artiesten Frank McComb, Ed Motta, Cory Henry, Kinga Glyk en vele anderen. “Yoràn Vroom ontwikkelt zich in rap tempo tot een van de toonaangevende musici van deze tijd.” - Vrije Geluiden Bio Rory Ronde
Rory Ronde groeide op in Amsterdam in een muzikaal gezin. Zijn vader, Henry Ronde, bespeelde verschillende instrumenten en was een van de pioniers in de Nederlandse muziekwereld; hij introduceerde de steelpanmuziek, calypso en soca uit West-Indië in Nederland. De meeste van zijn broers en zussen, zoals Berget Lewis, zijn actief in de muziekindustrie.
Rory, een autodidactisch muzikant, gebruikt de gitaar als zijn belangrijkste instrument, maar bespeelt ook regelmatig andere instrumenten. Ronde is ook songwriter en muziekproducent, onder de artiestennaam Kofi Anonymous.
Ronde is lid van verschillende bands, waaronder New Cool Collective, Wouter Hamel, LaGarçon* en Les Cooles De Ville. Hij maakt ook deel uit van Dox Family, een groep artiesten die materiaal heeft uitgebracht op het label Dox Records. Ronde heeft het genoegen gehad om performing this music abroad, visiting countries like Japan, South Korea, Lithuania and the United States. ENG
Bio Yorán Vroom
He began playing music at a young age. He attributes a significant part of his musical development to studying drums with the Surinamese-Dutch drum master Eddy Veldman and West African percussion with Master Ponda O’Bryan. Yoràn graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and currently works there as a percussion teacher in the jazz department. He is currently active as a composer and leader of the band Group Of Friends and is active in the Dutch/European (jazz) music scene. He has worked with and continues to work with internationally renowned artists such as Frank McComb, Ed Motta, Cory Henry, Kinga Glyk and many others. Bio Rory Ronde
Rory Ronde grew up in Amsterdam in a musical family. His father, Henry Ronde, played various instruments and was one of the pioneering musicians in the Netherlands, introducing the country to steeldrum music, calypso and soca from the West Indies. Most of his siblings, like Berget Lewis, are in the music industry. Rory, a self taught musician , has the guitar as his main musical tool but he frequently uses other instruments as well. Ronde is also a songwriter and music producer, working under the alias Kofi Anonymous. Ronde is a member of several bands including New Cool Collective, Wouter Hamel, LaGarçon* and Les Cooles De Ville. He's also part of Dox Family, an group of artists that released material on the Dox Records label. Ronde has had the pleasure of perform this music abroad, visiting countries such as Japan, South Korea, Lithuania and the United States.
