For over three decades, the duo Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, better known as Modeselektor, have been breaking down musical boundaries. The Berlin dj and producer duo seamlessly mix techno, hip-hop, and experimental electronics with an inexhaustible dose of eccentricity, leaving an indelible mark on the international electronic scene. Friends since Berlin's early rave era, the duo broke through globally in the early 2000s. Global success followed with their trio Moderat (alongside Apparat), as well as high-profile collaborations with Radiohead's Thom Yorke. In 2026, the duo shows no signs of slowing down: for their brand-new album MDSLKTR, they reopened the musical time capsule of their earliest records, rebuilding those ideas from the ground up alongside producer Johannes Wagner into lean, minimalist club tracks. Expect a live show at Paradiso that is as nostalgic as it is fiercely current, because these two pioneers are far from done.
