MEZRAB STORYTELLING DAY 2026: HEAR!
Spring is around the corner, which means it’s time to have another Mezrab Storytelling Day! That’s right, a WHOLE DAY full of stories!
We started doing these storytelling marathons a few years ago – to celebrate the World Storytelling Day and the arrival of spring. And while the date can shift ever so slightly (for practical reasons we stick to the weekends), by now it has become a tradition that we are happy to share with hundreds of people.
So, what does it mean? it means that on March 22 we are going to have 12 (!) hours of storytelling, from noon to midnight. It’s a great day to hang out at Mezrab with your friends in daytime (and in the evening, of course!), to hear lots and lots and lots of great stories, and to eat some pancakes. 🙂
Come anytime, and stay as long as you like!
The theme of this year is: HEAR!
What is the most previous sound in the world? What do you hear, when you close your eyes? What is it like, if the world is truly silent? This year, let’s hear the stories inspired by laughter, screaming (in joy & in pain), whispering (perhaps, sweet nothings into someone’s ear?) and many many other sounds that bring meaning to our lives.
Doors open: 11:30
Stories start: 12:00 (there are short breaks every hour)
Food: pancakes, hummus, soup depending on the time of the day.
