Meet-a-Maker is a 30-minute session to have a one-on-one talk with artists currently working at Mediamatic. We are lucky to be inspired by the many artists who work and stay with us for exhibitions, residencies and workshops. We welcome you to meet them and be inspired as well!
About the artist
Ikram Hamdi Mansour is an earth-building architect, project coordinator, and artist based in the Netherlands, working at the intersection of ecology, design, and embodied and somatic knowledge. She explores how land and matter, especially soil, become active grounds for reimagining the relationships between humans, non-humans, and the intertwined realms of the built and natural environment. Rooted in the belief that architecture is a living, regenerative process, her practice cultivates relationships, restores ecosystems, and redefines ways of inhabiting places. Working through material intelligence and bodily agency, Ikram develops spatial responses that bridge the tactile and the territorial, advancing a politics of care and positioning design as a sensorial, ethical inquiry into how we live with land.Topics

You can choose a 30-minute time slot between 16:00-16:30 and 16:30-17:00 on 11 June 2026 or 25 June 2026.
