Matt Home en Matyas Gayar

Gayar/Laarakker/Home is an initiative of bass player Ties Laarakker. In an effort to connect the Amsterdam (straight ahead) jazz scene to the ones of other European capitals, he invited Matyas Gayer and Matt Home over for a series of concerts.

Matyas Gayer is one of the few leading figures in the new generation of jazz musicians and known to be one of a handful of young pianists who is successfully forging his own distinctive style and musical voice out of the greatness of a jazz piano tradition.

Matt Home is a leading drummer on the London jazz scene. He performed with great musicians like Stacey Kent, Barry Harris, Eric Alexander, Grant Stewart and Gary Smulyan, and many many more.
