Met Honger levert Marios Bellas een indrukwekkend debuutalbum af. Powerful storytelling, politiek engagement en diep persoonlijke statements worden ondersteund door een breed scala aan instrumentals. Marios Bellas is een Grieks-Nederlandse rapper, acteur en regisseur, die zich sinds 2016 in Brussel heeft gevestigd. Sinds eind 2023 bracht hij Brussel en FUCK DE BUREAUCRATEN uit.
Als rapper en acteur trad hij internationaal op in voorstellingen als Hannibal (KVS) en Extreme/Malecane (Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles). Dit jaar speelt hij in Burning City (hetpaleis).
Hij tourde door België, Nederland, Frankrijk, Italië en Senegal en maakte als theaterregisseur indruk met het hiphopritueel Vier Muren, dat de grenzen van hiphop in theater verlegt.
Bellas is een vast onderdeel van het multidisciplinaire collectief SOCHA, dat sinds 2022 een onuitwisbare indruk achterlaat in de Belgische podiumkunsten.
Bellas combineert moeiteloos politieke pamfletten, spirituele reizen en rauwe, eerlijke persoonlijke bekentenissen. Hij zet aan tot nadenken, verbindt verschillende werelden en brengt een compromisloze live-act.

Marios Bellas is a Greek-Dutch rapper, actor, and director who has been based in Brussels since 2016. Since late 2023, he has released Brussel and FUCK DE BUREAUCRATEN.
