Rose & The Bass is celebrating another trip around the sun at De Ceuvel, and when it’s your birthday, you treat!
This all-rounder with multiple bands will treat everyone with an ear for good music to a delightful collection of tunes.
First, Rose will kick off the evening with Yella Band for a top-notch performance, followed by a jam session led by Rose & The Bass.
Yella Band
Yella Band, formed during the festival season in Amsterdam, combines African roots with Western funk into ‘afro-funk’. Led by the Senegalese multi-talent Mame N’Diack Seck Thiam and Dutch bassist Rosan Asmussen, the collective combines soulful storytelling, deep basslines, and a unique vocal language that transcends borders. Together with Jur de Vries and Fabio Galeazzi, Yella Band creates danceable rhythms that celebrate unity through music. Music is medicine.
