Leitura do livro “Nina vai ao Brasil” Renata Formoso
Storytime with Renata Formoso (Portuguese Speakers) 🕒 3PM – 5PM This session will be held in Portuguese as a special exception. "Nina Goes to Brazil" is a joyful celebration of Brazil's rich and diverse culture.
Through the eyes of Nina and her grandmother Teresa, young readers are taken on a journey across ten cities in all five regions of Brazil. Written by Renata Formoso, the story introduces children to uniquely Brazilian words and expressions — complete with a mini glossary to deepen their learning. The book also features a final section highlighting iconic places Nina visits, including Avenida Paulista, Corcovado, Marajó Island, Palácio da Alvorada, and Pelourinho. Carolina Coroa's vibrant illustrations bring to life Brazil's landscapes and Nina's adventures, full of affection and discovery. A colorful map at the end of the book helps children follow Nina's journey city by city. 👩‍💼 About the Author Renata Formoso is a Brazilian writer, communicator, and lifelong lover of the Portuguese language.
