LAUNCH gg place magazine

gg place is an independent multilingual folding magazine about everything human: where research blends with creative expression and where inspiring ideas can thrive.

Where gg means good game, grave groove, generation global, growing gardens and glowing guide.

The publication consists of a single 3.8-meters long folded photo-paper. This unique design is inspired by traditional manuscript folding techniques, such as orihon in Japan and pustaha in Indonesia. By combining the past knowledge with novel printing techniques, this double-sided accordion format creates an absorbing reading experience.
