The Lacho Kings are an up and coming Amsterdam-based band bringing a flammable mixture: A Latin rhythm section, Balkan winds, a cimbalom, and playful lyrics in Spanish and Romani. With inspiration ranging from Buena Vista Social Club to Mahala Rai Banda to Vera Bila to the Gypsy Kings, they call their unique concoction “Rromba-Pop”.
The evening will also include a Latin Gypsy Jam. Players of Afrolatin, Balkan, flamenco, East/Central-European, Brazilian, gypsy jazz and similar sexy styles will together make a steaming cauldron of musical magic. Danceability guaranteed!
