★ Lakkshya is a contemporary Indian music ensemble that has been captivating audiences since its inception in 2019.
Founded by Ila Diliip and KJ Diliip, the group skillfully navigates a spectrum of musical formats, while having a robust foundation in Carnatic music.
Their sound is an elegant blend of tradition and innovation, seamlessly bridging Classical and Contemporary expressions.Lakkshya was born froma shared passion for music and a desire to expand artistic horizons.Founders KJ Diliip, a virtuoso on the violin, and Ila Diliip, a virtuoso on both the violin and vocals, envisioned a platform to celebrate Carnatic music while exploring new genres. They were soon joined by Sunaad Anoor, a Long-standing friend, whose mastery of the khanjira and hybrid percussion added intricate rhythms and dynamic energy. Later, Diptangshu Bhowmik brought his piano and keyboard expertise, enriching the ensembel’s harmonic depth and unique sound. ★
