Guitarist Marnix DuCroock invented “psychedelic flamenco.” When he heard Pink Floyd’s “The Division Bell” at age four, he immediately knew he wanted to be a guitarist. His guitar teacher at music school was a flamenco guitarist who had studied with Paco Peña. And so the flame was ignited...
Marnix uniquely blends flamenco techniques with his love of symphonic pop, subtly incorporating the typical flamenco sound into a “normal” verse-chorus format, resulting in wonderfully atmospheric summer vibes.

With several studio albums to his name, Marnix and his Holandaluz have grown into a mature act and are a welcome guest at festivals and venues like Surfana, Bevrijdingspop, Stukafest, Groovy Classic, and Bloemendaal’s coolest beach club, Woodstock ’69.
