Felix is onderdeel van de jazzfaculteit aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, waar hij lesgeeft in drums en jazzensemble. Daarnaast is hij betrokken bij onderzoek naar creatieve processen en nieuwe leerconcepten.
A drummer actively engaged in a wide range of musical settings, he also performs with renowned ensembles in the Dutch and European jazz scene. Early in his career, he made his recording debut as a bandleader and composer on Challenge Records with his well-received album Counterlife. Felix is part of the jazz faculty at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where he teaches drums and jazz ensemble. In addition, he is involved in research on creative processes and new learning concepts.
