Intersectional karaoke & voku

There will be karaoke. There will be (vegan) food. There will be community.

At 14:00 the doors open, all are welcome to help cook. Food will be ready at 18:00 and we will start cleaning at 19:00 so that we can start karaoke at 20:00.

This is an intersectional evening. We want to be a brave space. This means we will not tolerate any discrimination (racism, sexism, ableism, et cetera). Mistakes happen but people who are not willing to reflect on and amend their harmful behaviour will be asked to leave. 

We all chip in to make this evening possible. If you join for food, please help cook or clean. Suggested donation (through cash or QR) for the food is around €2,50 - €7,50 to keep the lights on.

Accessibility

NieuwLand has a wheelchair ramp for the main space but not to get to the bathrooms, there are three steps to the bathrooms. Both bathrooms are genderneutral. 

The food will be vegan and glutenfree. There will be no leeks or mushrooms used. We cannot promise to prevent traces. 

Karaoke might be quite loud. It is possible to go outside to take a break when overwhelmed. There is a space upstairs as well but it is right above the speakers.
