Improvised Music and Dance Laboratory
Sound/movement performance

IMDL # 2 November edition at Splendor

The collective Improvised Music and Dance Laboratory creates performances through real-time composition and shared experimentation. Every process is digitally archived, creating a space for innovation, deepening, and connection.

For the second edition in November, curator Iris van Peppen will lead an evening that explores sound and movement. In her work, Iris is interested in creating sensorial landscapes through textures, complexity, simplicity, and a range from meditative to punk. She strives to bring together an adventurous and transdisciplinary synergy by inviting composers, visual artists, and dance artists who bring in different perspectives.
