Do you want to go to Peru? Or Asia? Or, maybe, Greece? Let's go to all this places together through the music of French composers Maurice Ravel, Olivier Messiaen and Tristan Murail.

Antonii Baryshevskyi presents a chamber vocal music concert, where he will play together with wonderful singer Ekaterina Levental. First half of the concert is dedicated to the music of Maurice Ravel - you will hear his Shéhérazade, Greek and Jewish songs.
In the second half you will hear Harawi - A Song of Love and Death - mystic tristanian vocal cycle influenced by Peruvian folk music by Olivier Messiaen. The texts were written by Messiaen himself - mostly in French, but partially in Quechua and sometimes in made-up language.

Also in the program: piano prelude by Messiaen and Tristan Murail's hommage to Messiaen.
