Rapper Hanumankind, born Sooraj Cherukat in Kerala, grew up on the sounds of hip-hop legends like Three 6 Mafia and DJ Screw. Inspired by their influence, he developed a unique style that blends Indian roots with modern hip-hop. His 2019 debut EP Kalari—featuring the track Daily Dose—made a strong mark on the Indian hip-hop scene. Follow-up Surface Level further showcased his talent as a versatile storyteller. In 2024, he broke through globally with Big Dawgs, which entered the Billboard Hot 100, racked up millions of streams, and went viral on TikTok. With a name that symbolizes strength and perseverance, Hanumankind continues to push boundaries and inspire a new generation of artists—carving out a unique space in the international music landscape.
