Friday jazz bar invites: Gabriel Cassaro e sua Oficina

The young musician Gabriel Cassaro has been active sa an arranger, bassist and composer in São Paulo’s instrumental music scene since 2018. In 2024, he entered the Dutch scene while pursuing his masters’ degree at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. With the goal of sharing his musical vision with the world, Gabriel founded the group ‘Gabriel Cassaro e sua Oficina’, drawing inspiration from jazz greats like Ben Wendel and Brian Blade and on the other hand Brazilian heroes like Milton Nascimento and Hermeto Pascual
