Foraging and cooking together – yes, even in November! What can be found in nature during these months? Come along and discover hidden food, then warm yourself by the fire as we cook!
This morning, I’ll take you into the late autumn greenery of the city. What’s still growing? What can you harvest this time of year? You’ll learn the basics of plant identification, which ones are edible, and how to forage sustainably.
Back at De Ceuvel, we’ll get culinary with what we’ve found, cooking over an open fire.
That last part – the cooking – is the cherry on top! Cooking together not only gives you a reason to forage during the walk, but also helps you take the first step toward actually using wild greens in your meals. It’s often surprising how rich and flavorful the dishes turn out to be. And finally, it’s simply wonderful to gather around a fire this time of year...
I work with the season & the moment, which makes every foraging trip unique...
