Every Tuesday evening – until the end of September – we show the most impressive, moving and controversial movies on our city beach on the NDSM Wharf. On a beach chair with a drink in your hand you’ll be sucked into the big screen.

A suburban corner of the U.S., present day. Ashley (Adria Arjona) is utterly fed up with her marriage to well-meaning nice guy Carey (Kyle Marvin) and suddenly announces she wants a divorce. Shocked and nursing a badly bruised ego, Carey flees to the home of his best friends Julie (Dakota Johnson) and Paul (Michael Angelo Covino), who offer him an unusual recipe for happiness: their open marriage. What starts as well-intentioned relationship therapy quickly turns into a wild roller coaster of jealousy, desire and painfully honest conversations, where friendship and love become hopelessly entangled. Beneath the jokes, awkward encounters and late‐night adventures lies a sharp and painfully recognizable portrait of modern relationships, in which everyone thinks they know what freedom is; until their own heart is on the line.
