Composed of Rio de Janeiro MC Pumapjl and Jundiaí beatmaker SonoTWS, Febre90s stands out as one of the most interesting manifestations of the contemporary Brazilian rap scene. While the duo's sound references and pays homage to the classic bass drum and snare of the 1990s, with analogue productions made directly on iconic equipment such as Akai MPCs and Roland samplers, the subjects are modern and the language contemporary.
