FCA Sunday Feminist Discussion x Lene Marquardt - FINTA friendships and activism
This Sunday’s discussion will explore the theme of FINTA (Female, Intergender, Non-binary, Trans, and Agender) friendships and activism. How are FINTA friendships connected to activism? How do we build and nurture friendships through activism? In what ways can friendship itself be a form of activism? How do we become more resilient through our friendships? What are your associations with friendship and activism?
Together, we will reflect on what activist friendships and friendship activism mean to us, while sharing our own experiences and practices.
We are also excited to welcome a special guest, Lene Marquardt, a photography student at the KABK in The Hague. Lene’s graduation project explores female friendships and activism, and she is the creative mind behind our beautiful poster. She is also collaborating with the FCA on several photo projects.
Be there or be square <3
If you would like to join the discussion, please read the following code of conduct and sign up! Everybody is welcome!

There will be a donation jar and some refreshments available (cash or pin). NieuwLand receives no subsidies and is run entirely by volunteers, please think about donating something if you are able as this helps us keep the lights on and our events free.
Currently there are heavy roadworks outside of NieuwLand and the street has been dug up, leaving replacement panels instead of a pavement. If you have access needs regarding the event, that you feel may not be in place, please get in contact with us so that we can do our best to incorporate these.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
