Eves Laurent
Eves Laurent, who grew up in Amsterdam-Zuidoost and has Ghanaian roots, discovered his love for rapping at an early age and gradually developed his own sound, which eventually led to the formation of the collective De Fellas and his own label, HPF Music. With his debut album ‘Rosé’ from 2018, he immediately put himself on the map. After a period out of the spotlight, he returned with a bang in 2021. The single ‘21’ featuring Frenna and the album ‘Deze Is Niet Voor De Charts’ racked up millions of streams, with the track ‘De Ploff!’ becoming a gold-certified hit.
Since then, Eves has remained determined to make his mark on Dutch hip-hop. Projects such as ‘Zeg Minder Dan Nodig Is’, ‘Adfectus XXI’ and ‘De Rosé Achter Het Masker’ all reached the charts and demonstrate his ambition to continue growing as an artist. In 2024, he signed with Top Notch, where he released the personal album 'Mijn Ziel Is Geen Deal', which was nominated for the Edison Hip-hop ‘25 and further cemented his status.
Following a sold-out show at TivoliVredenburg last year, it is now time for his home crowd: on June 7th, Eves Laurent will bring his story to the Main Hall at Paradiso.
