Evelyn Dupuy

Evelyn Dupuy
Afro-Cuban salsa and Latin jazz with European influences

Evelyn Dupuy has been living in the Netherlands for over ten years now, but in her music, Santiago de Cuba is never far away. She grew up there surrounded by salsa and Afro-Cuban rhythms and began singing at a young age. In the Netherlands, she found a new home for that musical heritage. The result is a sound in which the warmth of Cuba blends with Latin jazz and European influences. Her playful lyrics explore themes of longing, love and identity, sung with equal measures of sensuality and power.

In recent years, Dupuy has collaborated with artists such as Cimafunk, Tony Succar and Chuchito Valdés. Her new album is due for release in October 2026, on which she once again reflects on her Cuban roots. She sings about her heritage, femininity and the freedom to express herself fully. Personal and deeply intimate, yet always with rhythm at the forefront. It’s music to dance to, but just as perfect for falling in love to.
