Escape to the North-East: a journey through the rhythms and melodies of Dominguinhos

Dominguinhos was a central figure in the music of Northeast Brazil. Through his accordion ("sanfona"), he renewed traditional genres such as forró, baião, xote, and choro, blending them with MPB and jazz. The duo, formed by guitarist Tiago Lageira and pianist Pietro Aloi, presents a selection of songs from Dominguinhos' repertoire, ranging from MPB classics to virtuoso compositions influenced by jazz.
