Eloi Pascual Quartet
The quartet of Spanish drummer/composer Eloi Pascual presents his new album ‘Movement
in the distance’ (ZenneZ Records)
Eloi Pascual is a drummer and composer from Galicia (Spain) based in the Netherlands, most known for his work with the Ella Zīriņa trio and his own trio Amarea.
The Eloi Pascual quartet evolves from his previous trio Amarea, formed during his senior year at the
Conservatorium van Amsterdam with pianist Chaerin Im and bassist Matteo Mazzù, now joined by guitarist Fabien Vuattoux. Through his original compositions, Eloi explores the intersection of his diverse musical background within a sound world often described as subtle, minimalistic, and open.
Movement in the Distance (ZenneZ Records) marks Eloi’s second release as a bandleader, due in November 2025. The album follows his trio debut Amarea (ZenneZ/Berthold Records), released in August 2024 and supported by Amarte Fonds and New Amsterdam Jazz.
