The Canadian indie rock band Elephant Stone is the brainchild of frontman Rishi Dhir. He is the singer, bassist, songwriter and sitar player, and together with Miles Dupire (drums), Robbie MacArthur (guitar) and Jason Kent (piano/guitar), he forms this quartet with a distinctive sound. Elephant Stone combines a love of classical Indian music and instruments with the equally India-inspired sound of The Kinks and The Beatles. It’s an innovative blend, then, striking an exceptional balance between pop and psychedelia.
