Eco Printing Workshop
DATE: 15 NOV
TIME: 11H-12H30
PRICE: €30; €5 for Stadspas holders
LANGUAGE: EN + NL
Fruits, vegetables and plants become printing stamps! Children cut them open and look closely at the hidden patterns inside: stars, spirals, rings and branching veins. They learn the eco-printing technique and meet Andy Goldsworthy, an artist who makes his works outdoors from leaves, stones, ice and branches, and lets nature change them over time. Then they create their own tree and plant shapes with sliced fruits and leaves, invent the story of their imaginative plant, and add their print to one big shared forest.
The workshop is designed & led by Ahmet Dundar and Secil Guven in collaboration with Art Studio Amsterdam
This workshop is an extension of a children's art and science course.
