Slow down, connect with nature, and discover the magic of natural dyeing.
Join Nihan, the artist behind the sustainable textile brand LEAF&LOOM, for a relaxing and hands on Ecoprint Workshop at Cafe de Ceuvel. In this 2.5 hour mindful experience, you will learn how to transfer the hidden colors and shapes of real leaves and flowers directly onto fabric.
Embracing De Ceuvel’s sustainable spirit, we will also use local leaves from the garden and give asecond life to kitchen waste like onion skins and bring your own avocado pits to create beautiful, natural colors.
While our textiles are steaming, we will enjoy a quiet, mindful hand-sewing session, creating smallfabric pouches to store our finished pieces.
You don’t need any previous experience. Just bring your curiosity and get ready for a slow, creative process!
What you will take home:
- Your own uniquely designed 50×50 cm cotton scarf.
- A hand sewn fabric pouch.
- A deep understanding of the botanical contact printing process.
