Doka Live x CINDY w/ the Jagthorns

The groovepop/psychfunk of Cindy represents a love for the tradition of instrumental music. Melodies and song structures are key in their adventure to write songs. Cindy is sweet, Cindy is badass. The three musician friends, deeply rooted in the Dutch music scene, found each other through their love for groove. The sum of their parts comes together in a greater whole of funky, energetic, and colorful songs.

After releasing their first EP ‘Cindy Loves’ they performed in lots of venues. Currently they are putting the finishing touches to their second EP called Cindy Grooves with the single Yellow Sun as its first achievement.

With a growing fanbase, Cindy continues to push the boundaries of their musical style. Inspired by Sault, Fela Kuti, and The Shadows, their journey has begun; who knows what it will bring? Cindy gets the audience dancing and takes you along on a playful, layered journey through soul, funk, disco, and pop grooves.
