DESCENDANTS x Rooted In Culture: Revitalizing Dance in Club Culture Panel

Revitalizing Dance in Club Culture is where we explore how Afro House continues to shape sound, identity and movement on the dance floor. We begin the evening with Kuduro meets House, an uplifting dance workshop led by Ken (New York), Kim Tawjoeram (Amsterdam) and Willy Noir (Amsterdam), connecting African rhythms and house dance traditions through movement and exchange.
The second part of the evening features a panel conversation with Boddhi Satva, Thakzin, Kim Tawjoeram, and Willy Noir, moderated by Kenken and Meedy. Together they discuss how the music created by Afro House producers are directly connected with dance, movement and history. We explore how music made with intention can revitalize the dance floor as a space of freedom, connection and expression. Visitors of the panel can stay for the Descendants club night.
