Deep Cut x Doka Culture

At a Deep Cut, that song gets the floor.

Each storyteller will take the floor to share their memory in 5-minute stories. After each story, we drop the needle and collectively listen to the record. For you, that means discovering new music through the lens of someone else, through their memory. And, on Doka’s ridiculous sound system.

This edition, several speakers will take the mic. We’re not spoiling the songs (or the stories) just yet. You’ll have to be there for that.

Paul – ex-manager of Rico & Sticks, a foundational voice in the Dutch Hip-Hop scene

Bashak – storyteller by trade and musicologist in her free time

Diede – a true record selector ready to take you on a journey
