Moving into October we have Deboleena & Sarah Saleh joining each other behind the decks.
Raised across 3 continents on a blend of Indian classical, jazz, pop and RnB, Deboleena developed an appreciation for electronic music while living in Montreal and Amsterdam. Featuring prominently in her sets are layered percussion and leftfield selections borne of urban landscapes, local scenes, and colliding cultural influences. She is a resident of Murmur, Amsterdam and Radio TNP where she hosts a bimonthly radio show: Marine Lines.
Sarah Saleh is a Lebanese-born artist, DJ and curator based in Amsterdam. Working across sound, moving image, archival research and design, her practice explores displacement, fragmented identity and the ways memory is shaped by place. Alongside her artistic practice, Sarah is the co-founder of BBTCOR, an art, music and research project revisiting the 1990s chill-out room as a space for rest, listening and connection.
As a DJ, she moves between ambient, dub, downtempo, psychedelic electronics, IDM, new age and slower forms of dance music, creating sets that sit somewhere between listening and dancing.
