Launch concert of the new CD Daniël Belinfante – Et in Arcadia Ego: a piano recital by Dimitri Malignan featuring the music of Daniël Belinfante—a Dutch-Jewish composer born in Amsterdam in 1893 and murdered at Auschwitz in 1945—recorded for the first time.

The program juxtaposes Belinfante’s works with those of composers who inspired him or whose aesthetic aligned with his own: Bach, Chopin, Schumann, Debussy, Milhaud... and other surprises!

This CD is part of the Missing Voices collection and project initiated by Dimitri Malignan, and dedicated to recording composers who were persecuted in the Holocaust.
