🎬 Creative Resistance in Myanmar – Fundraising Screening

We invite you to join us on this special screening of three documentaries showcasing the often creative forms of resistance that the people of Myanmar have demonstrated since the military coup of 1 February 2021. Maaike Matelski, researcher on Myanmar at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and members of the Myanmar diaspora will be present to comment on the films and answer questions. Tickets are donation-based and will be reverted to Joy House, a cultural center for Myanmar youth in Mae Sot, Thailand, which lost much of its USAID funding in 2025.
