Close Up Expo: Who owns the city?

Close Up Expo: Who owns the city?
From 5 June to 3 July, the CLOSE-UP Team at VOX-POP presents Who Owns the City? This exhibition explores the entanglement of urban life power, memory, and movement, through artworks that vary from intimate installations to urban interventions. Who Owns the City? invites visitors to consider the layered, and sometimes invisible, forces that shape our experience of the city.

We will explore how we inhabit urban spaces and how ownership plays a role. How do we move through a space that isn't quite ours? And why isn't it ours to begin with? These questions surface in subtle, poetic, and sometimes unexpected ways in the works of our participating artists.
