Since its founding in 2003, CinemAsia Film Festival has brought together stories from across Asia and its diaspora, driven by the belief that cinema has the power to connect. The festival aims to contribute to a more inclusive society by enriching the social dialogue around Asian culture, at the intersection of Asian cinema, popular media, and community building. In doing so, CinemAsia builds bridges between communities worldwide. Finding what connects us our common ground is essential in this.
