The Welsh multidisciplinary artist and producer Cate Le Bon brings us vivid, surreal, and dreamlike artpop. Her versatility is evident in her six albums, including the critically acclaimed 'Pompeii' (2022), and is further highlighted by her production work for artists like Wilco and St. Vincent.
This year, she is releasing her seventh album, 'Michelangelo Dying,' once again collaborating with producer Samur Khouja and saxophonist Euan Hinshelwood. The record is the result of deep heartbreak. Cate was initially hesitant to make an album about love, but her emotions took over. The album is like a photo of a wound just before it heals—but at the same time, it still scratches it open.
