Cardboard Articulated Puppet by Raquel Diniz
So many cardboard pieces scattered around... And so many things that can be made with them! Let's make something together? On this day, we will create articulated cardboard puppets the size of children. Several pieces of cardboard will be available for the children to draw and paint themselves, with the help of adults. The body parts will then be connected with pins so that they can move. Once finished, we will all have fun dancing with the recycled puppets to the sound of lively music. This activity will be guided by Raquel Diniz, a Brazilian artist and art educator who lives in Amsterdam. She works with various media, including analog collage, illustration, and mural. In parallel with her artistic practice, Raquel regularly teaches workshops for adults and children, creating inclusive spaces where participants can explore their creativity, experiment with materials, and express their inner world.
