Camille

Camille
Inventive vocal pop and chanson

Camille is a French singer, composer and performer who has spent more than two decades exploring the boundaries of chanson, folk, jazz and experimental pop. Her voice remains at the centre of her work, functioning as instrument, rhythm and sound source all at once. With albums such as ‘Le Fil’, ‘Music Hole’, ‘Ilo Veyou’ and ‘OUÏ’, she developed a distinctive musical language built around vocal harmonies, body percussion and sounds drawn from the natural world. This autumn, Camille returns with ‘The Sound Of Milk’, an album exploring motherhood, inheritance and growing up. Its first single, ‘La Terre’, reflects on the connection between humanity and the planet we call home.
