Buy it, use it, break it, fix it: exhibition opening

Join us in this festive opening of the exhibition "Buy it, use it, break it, fix it," where 9 works of artists and designers will be showcased.

Waag Futurelab is hosting 9 works of artists and designers during GLUE 2026, showcasing how design can scratch at the surface of larger themes. Our designed world is broken, can we fix it? At least we can mend, patch, hack and repair.

With work by DuctTape Collective, Enrico Manzella, Yuxin Hu, Mary Ann Jaraisy, Sixin Zeng, Taiyi Yu, Marie Vilay, Tjep., and Waag Futurelab's Fab Academy's Christian Nyqvist, Heleen Emanue, and Remco van 't Veer.

Waag Futurelab is a platform for art and design that wants to effect change in the world. This 4th edition of GLUE, we are once again a hub for multiple designers, opening up our historic building and showing what some futures might look like.
